Huge congratulations to Aadam Syed from Pakistan for winning the 6th Bahrain Amateur Open by 4 strokes from Jay Mullane from the UAE. Syed started the final round one shot ahead of Issa Abou Ela from Egypt and 3 shots in front of Mousa Shanaah from Jordan. Mullane was 4 shots back from the overnight leader Syed starting the final round. In the final round Mullane played brilliantly on the front nine and was able to take the lead from Syed after shooting 4 under par 32 while Syed only managed 1 over par 37. However, Syed caught fire on the back nine and birdied 4 of the first 5 holes and relinquished the lead and never looked back. Issa Abou Ela finished 3rd at 8 under par followed by Yaseen Le Falher from Bahrain with score of 7 under par. Mousa Shanaah and Daniel Owen round up the top 6 places finishing at 5 under and 3 under respectively. In the net division, Hashem Shanaah from Jordan clinched 1st place followed by Turki Alhussain from Saudi in 2nd place. Emanuele Galeppini from Italy finished 3rd. The best junior gross prize went to Danill Sokolov from Qatar. Congratulations to all winners.
